Each of the clips have a hole which allows for connecting a flathead screw to any surface. Once the clips have been screwed in, the lightbar then can be connected to the clips. The “driver” powers the LED’s at a sustained set current allowing for changes in voltage coming in. On boats, motorhomes etc the voltage can get a bit hows-your-granny and the lightbar will easily handle these fluctuations. The 300mm 12v LED light bar will replace any 300mm fluorescent fitting in light output. It can take reasonable splash of water but please don’t immerse it. If it does get dunked dry it out thoroughly with the end caps removed then power it up. If you are going to leave it outdoors place some silicon on the 2 end caps and it will be fine.
