An aluminum bracket with two rare-earth magnets holds Spot-Check on the rail. Two adjusting screws raise or lower the laser beam 20° with a laser range of 135 ft. Worker aims the laser beam at a point 5/8 in below the head of the opposite rail and reads the gauge. Readings can be saved for future viewing.
